Our boss received a call in her cell phone from an underwriter agent. I overheard that the agent was telling her about the probable cost life insurance may have on the future of their children. Before the call ended, my boss told the caller that she could see us also because we have no idea about the insurance.The boss gave the agent the land line number of our office.

After three days, we had a call from our land line telephone. My colleague, Sue, was the one who received the call.She said that she was talking to an agent. They were discussing the cost life insurance may have on her life. Sue seemed to be agreeing with the caller.She asked her to come over during our free time. We were in the middle of a conference that time.

Within the week, we had a visitor in the office.She was Glenda, the agent who called Sue. I told her that Sue was out for some field work. I told her that perhaps she could wait for a while, otherwise, she could visit her at home because I was not aware when Sue could be back in the office. Being, enthusiastic about her product, Glenda, did not waste her time.She discussed to me what might be the cost life insurance might have in the future of our children. She said that the premiums were affordable. She also offer other plans such as pet insurance, car insurance,educational plans, pension plan and personal accident plan.She also could handle mutual funds.

She said that she has a customer in three years ago.She was a young single parent to a four year-old child. The customer bought a life insurance. After three months, the customer had an accident and died. The death benefit seemed to become the inheritance of the toddler she left. That she said was the cost life insurance has to the child.

Glenda explained that we should think of it as an investment. It was a kind of savings. I asked her the price rates it would cost life insurance . She elaborated the coverage and the benefits. She then calculated the premium of the life insurance based on my present age. She also calculated the life insurance rates based on the present ages of my husband and my children. She told me that even she has insured her parents. Well, I told her that I was convinced. I told her that I would call her after I told my husband about the insurance. Eventually, I was able to insure our family that week.
